Vibgyor International Film Festival is now in its 7th year and we have a fantastic line-up of local and international films that seeks to address and underline the sensitivity of the human condition. The films will be screened between the 22nd and 26th of February, 2012 in Thrissur.
The preparations for the festival had been initiated yesterday afternoon by the Film Festival Directorate. Members of the Directorate spoke at length to volunteers and students from institutions all over Kerala – the students themselves coming from a wide range of educational fields and disciplines. After a series of introductory and detailed lectures were delivered by members of the Vibgyor Collective, the volunteers were then assigned to groups according to their area of interest.
Talks and Preparations for the festival are in full swing. It will boast an impressive line-up of documentary films, short fiction & animation films – the biggest of its kind in India.
